Obituary for Vincenzo Morello

God called on Vincenzo Morello on March 23, 2023 at the age of 73. He is reunited with his parents Giuseppe and Domenica, and his siblings Francesco, Domenica, Vittoria, Giuseppe, and Carmela.   He is survived by his wife Concetta, his kids Margaret (Vincenzo), Joseph (Sheri), Victoria (Amanda).  Proud Nonno of Evan, Maria-Christina, Vincenzo, Jordan, and Jessica.

Vincenzo was born on March 27, 1949, in a small ocean town in near Reggio Calabria called Bagnara Calabria.  He immigrated to Canada in 1970 with his wife, in search of opportunity and a better life for him and his family.  Concetta and Vincenzo were blessed with three children.  He did his absolute best to provide his family with everything they could desire.  Vincenzo was a man who always carried himself with ease and perseverance.   He was happiest when everyone was gathered to eat a hearty meal. He lived his life with a reckless abandon and encouraged those around them to follow their joy.  He will be held dear in the hearts of all those who knew him.

Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Sunday March 26, 2023 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday March 27, 2023 at 11am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Perish (300 Ansley Grove Rd, Woodbridge). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in memory of Vincenzo to the Sunnybrook Cancer Society and Hospice Vaughan.
