God called Umberto peacefully on October 5th, 2020 at the age of 84. He will be forever missed by his loving and devoted wife, Rosa. Cherished by his dear children, Fernando (Maria), Dino (Lily), and Lina (Mario Samanica). Proud Nonno to Nicholas, Vanessa, Umberto, Cristina, Gabriel, Joseph, and Isabella. Umberto is predeceased by his beloved parents Camilo and Adele and his brothers Domenico and Ernesto. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Thursday October 8th, 2020 from 6-9 p.m. and Friday October 9th, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday October 10th, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr., east of Jane St). Private Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery. If so desired, donations in memory of Umberto may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
