Obituary for Rosa Ramos Sardo
God called Rosa Ramos Sardo peacefully on May 23, 2021 at the age of 84. She will be reunited with her loving husband, João Sardo. Cherished by her dear children, Jorge Sardo, and Maria Manuela (Jorge Antunes). Proud Avó to Alexandre Antunes and Catarina Antunes. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.
Rosa and her husband immigrated to Canada in 1969 from Portugal with their two small children. The family settled in Stratford, Ontario where she and her husband worked and raised their children. Following her husband’s death, she lived her last years in Woodbridge with her daughter and her immediate family. Rosa’s final resting place will be Gafanha da Nazaré, Portugal.
If so desired, donations in memory of Rosa may be made to the Angel Foundation for Learning.
Due to the current COVID restrictions in place, Private Family Funeral Services will take place. The Sardo Family thanks all family and friends for their support during this most difficult time.
We are pleased to be able to livestream the following Private Funeral Services for Rosa all on Saturday May 29th, 2021:
Visitation to begin around 11:00 a.m.
Walk Out from funeral home to begin around 12:00 noon.
Funeral Service to being at 1:00 p.m.
Dove Release will take place after the funeral service is complete.
