God called Rita peacefully on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the age of 84. She is now reunited in heaven with her loving husband, Silvio, her parents Pietro and Marietta, and her siblings Valentina, Amelia, Franco, Antonio, and Vittorina. Cherished by her dear children, Susanna (Tony), Sam (Ornella), and Diana (Mario). Proud Nonna to Silvio, Olivia, Paolo Antonio, Daniel, Domenico, Andrea Mario, and Sabrina Diana. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. If so desired, donations in memory of Rita may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Due to the current restrictions, Private Family Funeral Services will take place with only immediate family in attendance. The Scarcella Family thanks all family and friends for their support during this difficult time.

The family encourages friends and family to leave a message on the memory wall. Those will be invited to a mass in celebration of Rita's life at a later date.
