God called Pierina peacefully on December 31, 2022 at the age of 67. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Vittorio. Cherished by her son Peter and daughter Elisa. Pierina will be remembered by her brother Mario, and is reunited in heaven with her other brother. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. In memory of Pierina donations may be made to either the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to Sick Kids.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Maple Chapel (211 McNaughton Road East 905-303-0770) on Friday, January 6, 2023 from  5-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday January 7, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr., east of Jane St.). Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave.).
