God called Pierina peacefully on November 18, 2020 at the age of 82. She is now reunited in heaven with her loving husband Enrico. Cherished by her dear children Mirella (Tony Leal), Enzo, Laura (the late Giancarlo Mauti), and Egidio (Karyn). Proud Nonna of Kassandra, Gianluca, Alessia, Kristian, Bianca, and Ella. Pierina will always be remembered by her brothers and sisters Felice (Ida) and Domenica (Salvatore). She will also be deeply missed by her caregivers Didi and Maria. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Scheduled and Webcasted Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Friday November 20, 2020 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Private Funeral Mass will be livestreamed on day Saturday November 21, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Jane Frances Roman Catholic Church (2747 Jane Street., north of Sheppard Ave.). Private Family Entombment livestreaming to follow at Beechwood Cemetery (on Jane St., north of Steeles Ave.). In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Pierina may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
