God called Maria Luisa peacefully on October 14, 2022 at the age of 81. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband Maurino, her dear parents Antonio & Concetta Garofalo, and her in-law’s Gabriele and Enrichetta Manza. Cherished by her dear children, Luciana (Rinardo) and Gabriele (Virginia). Proud Nonna to Laura (Daniel), Mathew, and Andrew. Adoring sister to Frank Garofalo (Ada). Reunited in heaven with siblings Dorina (Saverio), Nilda (Antonio), and Alberto. Sister in-law to Eugenio Manza (Maria), Late Silvio Manza (Ada), Elena Garofalo (Late Silvio), Luigi Manza (Alba), Dora Venneri (Late Frank), and Maria Garofalo. Adored aunt of many nieces and nephews. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.  If so desired, donations in memory of Maria Luisa may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.

Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. (300 Ansley Grove Rd., north of Chancellor Dr.) Private Family Entombment to follow.
