God called Maria peacefully on May 2, 2023 at the age of 100. She is now reunited with her loving husband, Francisco and children, Deolinda, Luis, and Silvino, in Heaven. Cherished by her dear surviving children, Antonio (Maria Silvina), José (Zaida), Mario (Maria), and Maria (Bertolino). Proud Avó to 11 Grandchildren. Adoring great grandmother, Bisavó to 7 and 4 Great – Great Grandchildren. Maria will always be remembered by her 10 siblings. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.  

Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home “Toronto Chapel” (2080 Dufferin St. 416-656-3332) on Saturday, May 6, 2023 8 - 10 a.m.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Helen’s Roman Catholic Church. (1680 Dundas Street West, East of Lansdowne Avenue). Interment to take place at a later date in Cemiterio Salir de Matos, Salir de Matos, Caldas da Rainha, Leiria, Portugal
