God called Maria peacefully on June 7, 2022 at the age of 100. She is now reunited in heaven with her loving husband, Rocco. Cherished by her daughter, Matilda “Mickey” (Mike). Proud Nonna to Maryanne (Renato), Amy (Lui), and Vito. Adoring Bisnonna to Johnmichael (Liana), David, Nicole (Luca), Vanessa, Nicholas, Matthew, Olivia, and Michael. Maria now joins all of her loving siblings in heaven. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.  If so desired, donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Hospice Vaughan. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church. (150 St Francis Ave., north of Rutherford Rd.) Family Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
