It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Maria Blandino-De Munno on December 29, 2020. She was born on June 10, 1941 in Modica, Sicily, Italy to her parents, Luigi and Giancina. Maria was the adored wife of Antonio Blandino who predeceased her in 1992. She will be forever missed by her beloved second husband, Antonio De Munno. Loved by her dear sister, Anna, by her brother-in law Vincenzo Assenza and by her sister-in-law Maria Iurato. Cherished aunt and great-aunt to many nieces & nephews both in Italy and Canada. She is now reunited in Heaven with her brother, Giuseppe. She will be held dear in the hearts of both the Blandino Family and the De Munno Family. Maria was loved and cherished by so many friends. Maria had a big heart. She loved the company of family and friends and was the most gracious hostess. She gifted the most beautiful trays of homemade cookies wherever she went. Maria loved her winter breaks in Mexico and spending time at her trailer. She had an infectious laugh that made the life of every gathering. Maria shall be greatly missed both in Italy and Canada.
