God called Giuseppe (Joe) quietly and peacefully on Saturday April 17, 2021 at the age of 76. He will be forever loved and missed by Mary, his devoted wife of 53 years. His precious influence will live on eternally and proudly in his adoring children, Tonia and Diana. He was a fun - loving Nonno to Gianni, Matteo, Eva, Luca, Rina and Tessa. Giuseppe is reunited in heaven with his beloved sister Caterina and brothers Elio, Franco, Tullio and Pierro. He will be held close in the hearts of his family. He enriched the lives of so many as an enthusiastic track coach and mentor. He was a gentle soul with a sharp wit and infectious laugh. He openly loved with all of his heart and delighted in time spent in good company and in conversation - especially if about soccer and Italy. If so desired, donations in memory of Joe may be made to the MS Society of Canada.

Scheduled visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home "Maple" Chapel (211 McNaughton Road East 905.303.0770) on Friday April 30, 2021 from 1-4 p.m.

In respecting the pandemic restrictions, the Funeral Mass will be celebrated in private on Saturday May 1, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Augustine of Canterbury Roman Catholic Church followed by a private entombment service at Westminster Cemetery.
