Obituary for Gino Valentini

It is with profound sadness that the family of Gino Valentini announce his passing at the age of 88, on February 23rd, 2022. He will be forever missed by his loving wife of 65 years, Santina (nee Perruzza). Cherished by his dear children, Lucy, Frank (Margaret), Adriana (Eddie), and Angie. Proud Nonno to Diana (Martin), Joseph, Stefanie, Robert (Lisa), Andrew (Emma), Vanessa (David), Daniel (Elina). Adoring great grandfather to Malcolm, Siena, Makayla, Marcus, and Leyla. Gino will always be missed by his siblings Armando (Lourdes), Giacomo (Anita), Rosina (Pasquale), and Quirino. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends.  If so desired, donations in memory of Gino may be made to the Sick Kids Hospital Foundation.

 

One of Gino’s career highlights in his life was when he held the position of doorman at Vescio Funeral Home. It is now an honour for his  funeral arrangements to be entrusted to Vescio, as we welcome his family and friends to visit and pay their respects.

 

Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 3-9 p.m.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. (300 Ansley grove Rd., north of Chancellor Dr.) To attend please click the blue RSVP button to reserve your spot. Private Family Entombment to follow. 

We continue to remind all friends and family that masks must be worn at all times, to avoid any physical contact while visiting our funeral home, and to please be mindful of physical distancing when inside the funeral home with other guests, as well as with the family.
