It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing George Karkic on May 10, 2023 at the age of 80. He will be forever missed by his loving wife Milka. He is survived by his dear children Jackie (John), Helen (Joe), Buggy (Elizabeth) and Natacha. He is the proud Grandfather to Christina (Scott), Natalie (Steve), Francesco, Alexandra, Luke and Simona. And an adoring Great Grandfather to Raylan, Mila, Lily and Riggs. George will always be remembered by his siblings Luba, Ann, Rose (Peter) and sister-in-law Stella. He is predeceased by his siblings Cveta (Meto) and Alex. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends.  

Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Friday May 12, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday May 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral (76 Overlea Boulevard). Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery (375 Mt. Pleasant Road).
