DOMINICIS, FRANCESCO ETTORE, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 in his 90th year at Mackenzie Health Hospital after he lost his battle to Covid and pneumonia. Beloved husband of Emma (nee Castiglione). Loving father of Salvatore (Franca), Rosa (Vito DeMola) and Adriana. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Michael, Alessia, Jessica, Julia, Stefan and Jenna. Predeceased by his brother Giuseppe (Rita). Francesco will be sadly missed by his sister Maria (Renato Dabbico). Forever in the hearts of his many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was born in Celico, Calabria, Italy on June 27th, 1930 to Salvatore and Concetta (nee Aquino). Francesco immigrated to Canada and immediately began to work for Canadian National Railways in Northern Ontario. He retired from CNR, VIA Rail and Toronto Terminal Railways (Union Station) after 35 years of service. He was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He always put the needs of his family before his own. He will always be remembered as a hard-working family man, a storyteller and a man of faith. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives and many friends. A Private Family Funeral Service will take place at Vescio Funeral Home followed by a Private Family Entombment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
