Peacefully into the arms of Jesus, Fr. Vito Marziliano was called to glory on Saturday February 12th, 2022 in his 67th year. Fr. Vito is survived by his beloved mother Cesaria. Cherished brother to Dino Leonardo (Paola), Tony (Antonietta), Jack, Mary, Sam (Teresa), Anna and Tom. Proud Zio of Alyssa, Sarah, Christina (Paul), Chiara, Ryan and Patrick, and great uncle to Nico Antonio. He is now reunited in heaven with his father Pasquale, and his siblings Nietta, Anetta, Maria and his nephew Anthony, and will now be missed by his furry companion, his cat “Frankie”. Fr. Vito touched the lives of so many. He will be deeply missed by his friends, too numerous to mention, fellow clergy, and his beloved St. Patrick’s community of whom he held so close to his heart.

Public visitation will be held on Thursday, February 17th from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and again on Friday, February 18th from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the St Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in Woodbridge (150 St. Francis Avenue). The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 19th at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Private family interment to follow. The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed by St. Clare of Assisi Church (please see information below). In memory of Fr. Vito, in lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to the Fr. Vito Marziliano Charity Trust Fund, to support the many organizations Fr. Vito supported throughout his life, such as the “La Creche Sisters of Bethlehem”.

Due to the large volume of visitors, the current pandemic restrictions, and to ensure the safety of our family, friends, and members of the community, you must register/RSVP online to attend the visitation and Funeral Mass. IF YOU DO NOT REGISTER ONLINE, YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER THE CHURCH.  N95 masks or equivalent will be required to be worn by ALL guests at all times, temperatures will be taken upon arrival, and hand sanitizers will be available while waiting in line upon entry and exit.

The visitation will be walk through only. There will be no seating permitted at the church.

To ensure an organized flow of foot traffic, please use the rear entrances of the church, as the front doors of the church will be locked at all times.
