Obituary for Fernando Lamelas
Fernando passed away peacefully on January 12, 2021 at the Sunnybrook & Health Sciences Centre at the age of 60. He will forever be missed by his loving children Vania (Mohammad), Fernando (Cindy), Telmo (Marlene) and Michael. Beloved grandfather of Darian, Dameer, Bryce, Adam and Julian. Cherished brother of Joaquim, Jorge, Manuel and Noemia. Fernando will be missed by extended family and many many friends. Visitations will be held at the Vescio Funeral Home “Toronto Chapel” (2080 Dufferin St., north of Rogers Rd. 416.656.3332) on Sunday January 17th from 2:15 – 4:15 p.m.
With the current restrictions put in place by the Ontario Government and the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, the maximum number of people gathering at one time is limited to 10. Friends may attend the visitation but must reserve a visitation time slot of 15 minutes only and, do so by RSVP online or by contacting the funeral home.
PLEASE BE ADVISED, EACH ATTENDEE MUST RSVP INDIVIDUALLY.
FOR EXAMPLE A COUPLE LIVING IN THE SAME HOUSE HOLD THAT WISH TO ATTEND TOGETHER MUST RSVP SEPARATELY.
Should an error be made with your RSVP, you will not be permitted into the funeral home.
All guests entering the building must be registered with the funeral home and are required to wear a mask at all times and avoid physical contact with others.
Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, Fernando’s family have made the difficult decision to hold a private funeral and burial service.
