God called Ernesto peacefully on October 4th, 2022 at the age of 97. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Ida. Cherished by his dear children, Raffaele (Adriana), Tony (Grace), Giovanni (Franca), Carlo (Sandra), Pino (Connie), Mary (Natale), and Roberto (Connie). Proud Nonno to Ida (Nick), Cristina (Vince), Marco (Sonia), Paolo (Brittney), Daniela (Vince), Laura (Brandon), Anthony (Sabrina), Ernesto, Stephanie (Andrew), Michael, Daniel (Alejandra), David, Julianna (Rino), Joseph (Alyssa), Connie (Vince), Vanessa (Damiano), Olivia, Luca, and Amanda. Adoring Bisnonno to Laura, Joseph, Vincent, Julian, Monaco, Farrah, Raffaele, Siena, Brielle, Isla, Julia, Matteo, Mia, Madeleine, Georgia, Sophia, Emma, Mikayla, Ava, Katalina, Emily, Dante, Victoria and Sofia. Ernesto will always be remembered by his siblings and reunited in Heaven with his brothers and sisters. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends.  If so desired, donations in memory of Ernesto may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Thursday, October 6th, 2022, from 6-9 p.m. and Friday, October 7th, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9p.m.The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 8th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church. (100 Bainbridge Ave., at Martin Grove Rd.). Entombment at Westminster Cemetery to follow.
