Obituary for Elio Borea

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving Husband, Father, Nonno, Brother, Uncle and Friend to many. Elio was called by God on May 11, 2020 at the age of 75 surrounded by his loving family. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Elena of 53 years. Cherished by his dear daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra (Sam), Diana (Vito) and Nancy (Angelo). He was a proud Nonno of 6 grandchildren, Julian, Sabrina, Victoria, Matthew, Stefan and Rachel. Beloved brother to his sisters in Italy, Anna, Annunziata and Mirella. Brother-in-law to Celia, Lina, Giuseppe, Anna, Tony, Antonietta and Mary. He will be held dear by all his nieces and nephews in Italy and here in Canada; Grazia, AnnaLisa, Nicolino, Adele, Vincenzo, Nicola, PerLuigi, Carmela, Simona, Marco, Laura, Mary, Joe, Mirella, Bruna, Frankie, Jerry, Danny, Nancy and Johnathan.
Elio came to Canada in 1965, he was a mechanic for Enbridge for over 40 years. He loved working with all his co-workers and always loved to cook for them. He has a passion for farming and hunting and will be specially missed by his Camp Grappa Hunting family; Sam, Joe, Vittorio, Adam, Rino, Mike, Anthony and Rob. He will truly be missed by all his family and friends. Private Family Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332), with a Private Entombment to follow. If so desired, donations in memory of Elio may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation.
