Obituary for Duilio Mascherin
God called Duilio peacefully on Saturday December 5, 2020 at the age of 92. Reunited in Heaven with his loving wife, Clelia. Cherished by his dear children, Walter (Joanne), and Loreta. Proud grandfather to Matthew (Patricia) & Leigh Erin. A great-grandfather to Connor and Jackson. Duilio will always be remembered by his siblings, Nerina, Agnese and Bruna. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Monday December 7, 2020 from 5-8 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday December 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St. Francis Ave., north of Rutherford Rd.). Private Family Entombment to follow.
If so desired, donations in memory of Duilio may be made to the Lung Association or a charity of your choice.
As advised by our regulator the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, BAO (https://thebao.ca) and local government and health department regarding Covid-19 restrictions, as we have entered the “red zone” the funeral home is now limited to a maximum of 50 patrons inside the building at any given time.
