Obituary for Digna Lino

On March 11th, 2023, God called Digna Lino at the age of 83. Digna arrived in Canada in 1974 changing the trajectory of her life and her family’s life. She was a dressmaker by trade and would jump at the chance to share her talent. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Although she lived in Canada, she never forgot her Ecuadorian roots. A true Ecuatoriana. Digna loved dancing, singing and bingo. She loved to make people laugh and be the shoulder everyone would lean on. She leaves behind three beautiful daughters; Sandra (John), Connie (Edwin) and Monica (Ronny) that will continue to celebrate her life and continue family traditions. The love and dedication she had for family gave her strength to travel to a country where she knew no one. Her grandchildren are so grateful for her sacrifice. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren; Danny, Isaac, Helen, Andres, Efren, Melissa, Steven, Junior, Gabriel and Lucas, as she is greeted at Heaven’s Gates by her granddaughter, Emily. Digna was also an adoring great grandmother to; Caroline, Elena, Makayla, Kairo, Kayleigh, Mackenzie, Chloe and Kruz. She is now reunited with her beloved mother, Maura and siblings España, Alfonso and Blanca. She will always be remembered by her surviving siblings Alicia, Ricardo, William and Jorge. She will be missed and held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.
