God called Demetre peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday March 11, 2021 at the age of 82. He will forever loved, and missed by his wife Adriani. Beloved father to Panagiotis (Maria), Periklis, and Catherine. Proud grandfather to Adrienne, Angela (Christian), Demitra (John), and Demetre. Demetre will be missed by his siblings, extended family and many friends. Visitations will be held at the Vescio Funeral Home “Toronto Chapel” (2080 Dufferin St., north of Rogers Rd. 416.656.3332) on Monday, March 15th, 2021 from 12-4 p.m.

With the current restrictions put in place by the Ontario Government and the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, the maximum number of people gathering at one time is limited to 10. Friends may attend the visitation but must reserve a visitation time slot of 15 minutes only, and do so by RSVP online or by contacting the funeral home.

All guests entering the building must be registered with the funeral home and are required to wear a mask at all times and avoid physical contact with others.

Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, Demetre’s family have made the difficult decision to hold a private funeral and burial service.
