It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Caterina (Tagliola) Cipriani, who died peacefully at Mackenzie Health Centre in Richmond Hill, Ontario, on May 9, 2020, at the age of 99 years.
Caterina will be lovingly remembered by her children Vince, Tony (Nancy), Linda (Luigi), her 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Caterina was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband of 69 years, Pasquale, her loving daughter Pasquina, son-in-law Pietro, daughter-in-law Maria, sister Maria, and brothers Pietro, Cesidio, Pasquale, Ottavio and Domenico.
Caterina lived a full, and healthy life. Despite her achievements as a businesswoman and chef, Caterina’s true measure of success was her family, in particular her grandchildren and her great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She loved to cook, she took pride in maintaining an immaculate house, and was highly skilled with knitting needles and crochet hooks. A recent skill that became apparent in her 90’s was her artistic abilities and her passion to draw. Caterina had a dynamic personality, a love for life and for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed, and we will cherish all the special moments and memories we each shared with her. Caterina will forever be in our hearts.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 health concerns and restrictions, a Funeral Mass and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
As flowers will not be accepted at the funeral home nor at the cemetery, donations can be made to Mackenzie Health Hospital.
