Obituary for Antonio Catalano

God called Antonio peacefully on March 9th, 2022, at the age of 90. He will be reunited in Heaven with his loving wife, Maria. Pre-deceased by his loving daughter, Silvanna (missed by her husband Sam Degliangeli). Cherished by his daughter Dina (Daniel Gama) and the late Joe Capogna.  Proud Nonno to Adam, Miranda (Lucky Saraceno), Matthew, and Julian. Adoring great grandfather to Kai and Neo. Antonio will always be remembered by and reunited in Heaven with his brothers and sisters. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many friends.  If so desired, donations in memory of Antonio may be made to the Villa Leonardo Gambin Foundation.  

 

Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Friday, March 11th, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.  

 

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 12th, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church (8500 Islington Ave., South of Langstaff Rd.).  Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery to follow. 

 

As per government regulations, we continue to remind all guests that masks must be worn at all times upon entering the funeral home. Please feel free to help yourself to one of our personalized masks at the entrance of our funeral home. For the safety of all visitors, our team continues to monitor and sanitize all public areas of our facilities. In a recent change of government regulations, contact tracing and RSVP is not required to visit your loved one, or attend their funeral service.
