Obituary for Antonio Armanetti

God called Antonio unexpectedly on July 4, 2022 at the age of 83. He will be reunited with his incredible wife and love of his life Luigina, and dear siblings Vincenzo, Pina, Angelo, and Franco. Antonio will be cherished and missed immensely by his children, Lucy, Nicola, and Anna (Jonatan). Proud Nonno to Grace (Joey), Anthony (Catherine), Nicolina (Jacob), and Giovanni. Adoring great great grandfather- Bisnonno to Chiara, Sienna, Zaiden, Joey, and Mia. Antonio will always be remembered by his brothers and sisters Maria, Anna, Mario, Riccardo, Liberucca, Tetina, and Giovanna. Adoring uncle to all his nephews and nieces in Italy. Antonio will be forever loved by his family and remembered by all for being such a humble, kind, generous and intelligent man. All that knew him, knew him to be a hard worker and a master of everything. Antonio worked up until 74 years old as a Sheet Metal Foreman and in his spare time, he would breed Canaries, repair bikes, paint scenic pictures, playing and watching soccer with his grandson, and gardening. In his later years of his career, he spent his time teaching the new apprentices everything he knew and often told what an incredible patient teacher he was. He dedicated every moment of his life to help and support his family and helped many of the neighbours in his area as well by repairing various things. Antonio spent the last few years caring for his wife Gina while she struggled with Alzeimers up until her death. His love for her was profound and their story was right out of a story book. There was nothing Antonio would not do for his children or grandchildren. He was adored by all those that knew him. He was known to be a good man, and in Italian people would say he is such a good man like, e come il pane. Antonio will be forever loved, and remembered in the hearts of hisfamily, relatives, and many friends. If so desired, donations in memory of Antonio may be made to the Children of Hope.
