Obituary for Anthony Costantini

Always young at heart. He played music. He made jokes. The epitome of fun and love. Taken too soon on January 4, 2023, our beloved Anthony at the age of 46 left our world. He was the world to his loving family as he leaves behind the A-Team – his partner in life Ada and his adored children Alessio and Alana. Anthony was a lover of life, children, his family and adventure. Every day was a journey of discovery for him, Ada and his children. Nothing mattered more – excitement, curiosity, joy, and laughter.

He will be remembered by his loving parents Agostino and Annamaria Costantini, and by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Joe and Iolanda Cartaginese.

Cherished by his grandparents Silvio and Giovanna (deceased). He is reunited in Heaven with his late grandparents Francesco and Carmelina Sacco. He will also be remembered fondly by Ada’s grandparents Anna Maria Leone (late Gesualdo) and Ada Cartaginese (late Pasquale).

Anthony will be missed by his adoring sisters Sylvia and Daniella (Anthony) and sisters-in-law Anna Maria (George) and Alessia (Angelo). His nieces and nephews Olianna, Theodore, Emilia, Benny, Joelle, Matteo, Massimo, Vianna and Francesco were blessed to experience his all-encompassing love.

Life is lived in many ways and leaves in many ways; sometimes sudden and unfair. Anthony lived fully, loved fully and left this world after fully fueling the hearts that mattered most to him.

Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Maple Chapel (211 McNaughton Road East 905-303-0770) on Saturday January 7 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday January 8, 2023 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday January 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (14485 Jane Street, north of King Road). Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (1810 Albion Road at Highway 27).

Devastatingly, Anthony leaves behind a young family he adored. In lieu of flowers and to help during this difficult time, contributions are greatly appreciated by e-mail transfer to ada.anth@outlook.com for Anthony’s children. A trust will be established with these funds.

The A-Team’s hearts are broken. To the world he was but one, to his family he was the world.
