Obituary for Anthony "Antonino" Casola

God called Anthony (Antonino) peacefully on July 12, 2022 at the age of 91. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Josephine. He will be reunited in heaven with parents Giovanni and Giovanna his sister Maddalena, his parents-in-law, Calogero and Caterina, and brother-in-law Antonino (Leonarda). Cherished by his dear children, Joanne, Cathy (Vito), John (Shirley), Charles (Joanne), and Madeline (Warren). Proud Nonno to David (Meredith), Laura, Sabrina (Giancarlo), Justin (Justyna), Victoria (Matthew), Melissa, Amanda, Liam, Nicholas, Emma, Hannah, Madelyn, Claire, Adele, Julian, and Adam. Adoring Bisnonno to his 10 great grandchildren. Anthony will be missed by his sister Josephine, and in-laws Frank (Gesua p.d.), Joe (Angela), Memi (Giacomo), and John (Mary). He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends.  If so desired, donations in memory of Anthony may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Alzheimer’s Society. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Thursday July 14, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church. (100 Bainbridge Ave., at Martin Grove Rd.). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
