Obituary for Angela Orsi

God called Angela peacefully on July 17th, 2022, at the age of 74 after a long and brave battle with cancer.  Born in Italy in 1947, she immigrated as a young child with her family to Argentina where she was raised.  During a trip to Toronto in 1980 she met her beloved husband Giovanni and they were married shortly thereafter. They would have celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary in September.  Together they share two daughters, Letizia and Annabella.

Angela was an incredibly devoted and loving, wife, mother and Nonna who took great pride in her family.  She was an amazing cook, talented seamstress, and always put her best into everything she did.  She was a strong and resilient person, with a wonderful sense of humour, a sharp wit and above all, a heart of gold.  She spent many hours volunteering and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  Simply put, she was beautiful inside and out.

She will be forever missed by her loving husband, Giovanni. Cherished by her dear children, Letizia (Robert) and Annabella. Proud Nonna to Matthew and Luke, who loved her very much. The oldest of four children, Angela will always be remembered by her brother Jose Luis (Graciela) and her sister-in- law Mirta in Argentina, and is now reunited in Heaven with her siblings, Josefina and Antonio and her parents Antonio and Maria. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends here, in Argentina and Italy.  If so desired, donations in memory of Angela may be made to Hospice Vaughan and the Cancer Care Clinic at Humber River Hospital Foundation.

Te queremos mucho mamá y Nonna.  Gracias por todo.  Te extrañaremos para siempre.
