Peacefully on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Etobicoke General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Luigi. Loving mother of Silvia (John Eisner) and Rosalba (Shawn Stragier). Proud nonna of Matthew Eisner (Erin), Daniel Eisner, and Jack Stragier. Dear sister of Sofia (Augusto Girotto), Rita and Angelo Fantin (Graziella). She will be sadly missed by many family and friends. A sincere thank you to the staff and friends of the Casa Dolce Casa, as well as the support from the many nurses, Dr. Maida and his team at the Etobicoke General Hospital. Friends will be received at the Vescio Funeral Home, Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd., (905) 850-3332) on Tuesday, August 15 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 16 at 9:30 am at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, (150 St. Francis Ave., north of Rutherford). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. It was Elena's wish that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation.
