God called Alfonsa peacefully on November 9, 2015 at the age of 95. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband Francesco. Cherished by her dear children; Pietro (Giuseppina), Giacomina (Gaspare DiMaria - Pre Deceased), Catena (Vito Palumbo), and Salvatore (Carmela). Proud grandmother to 8 and great grandmother to 16. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905 850-3332) on Wednesday and Thursday from 4-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday November 13, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. Immaculate Conception (300 Ansley Grove Rd., north of Chancellor Dr.). Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (on Albion Rd., at Hwy 27). If so desired, donations in memory of Alfonsa may be made to a charity of your choice.
