God called Ilda peacefully on September 15, 2015 at the age of 70. She will be forever missed by her loving husband Jose. Cherished by her dear children; Ilda (Frank Lourenco) and Linda. Proud grandmother of Kyle, Kevin, Courtney and Caitlin. Ilda will always be remembered by her siblings Jose (Ludevina), Rosa (Antonio), Maria (Umberto) and Fernando (Luisa). Ilda is reunited with her siblings Joao, Valdemar and Conceicao; her parents Jose and Conceicao. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends in Canada and Portugal. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905 850-3332) on Thursday from 6-9 p.m and Friday from 2-4 & 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 8:30 a.m., at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St. Francis Ave., off Rutherford Rd., west of Weston Rd.). Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery (on Jane St., south of Hwy 7). If so desired, donations in memory of Ilda may be made to the Pencer Brain Trust, or to the Princess Margaret Hospital.
