God called Rosa peacefully on August 3, 2015 at the age of 83. She will be forever missed by her loving husband Salvatore. Cherished by her dear children; Concetta (Francesco D’Urzo) of Italy, Teresa (Gennaro Ruberto). Proud grandmother of Domenico (Alessandra), Salvatore (Rocchina), Maria (Onofrio) all of Italy, Antonio, Maria; great grandmother of Marika, Francesco, Alessia, Francesco, and Ilenia. She will be held dear in the hearts of her sister and 3 brothers in Italy and by their families, relatives, and many friends both in Italy and Canada. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905 850-3332) on Thursday August 6, 2015 from 3-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 9:30 a.m., at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church (191 Wade Gate, south of Centre St.) Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave). If so desired, donations in memory of Rosa may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
