God called Assunta peacefully on March 18, 2015 at the age of 87. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Cesidio. She will be cherished by her dear children Maria, Elia (Pietro Grisolia), Ettore Edward (Jean Jefferies), and Louise (Charles Attard). Proud grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 16. Assunta will always be remembered by her siblings Donato, Emidio, Costantino, Giuseppe, Rocco, and Maria. She is now reunited in Heaven with her son in law Vittorio D'Angelo. She will be held dear in the hearts of all her nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905 850-3332) on Sunday from 2:00-4:00pm & 6:00-9:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday March 23, 2015 at 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd., north of Chancellor Dr.). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27, south of Hwy 7). In loving memory of Assunta, donations may be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
