God called Salvatore peacefully on March 13, 2015 at the age of 82. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Diana. She will be cherished by her children Teresa (Emilio Paglia), Rosaria (Frank Darpino), Marisa (Robert Spurrell), and Lorenzo (Fabiola). Grandfather to Victoria, Amanda, Vince (Meghan), Giancarlo, Tina (Antonio), Cassandra, Justin, Isabella and Sabrina. Great grandfather to 2. Salvatore will always be remembered by his siblings Tony (Giuseppina), Caterina (Marco predeceased) and Vincenza (Salvatore predeceased) of Germany. He will be held dear in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905 850-3332) on Monday March 16, from 6-9pm and Tuesday March 17 from 2 -4 & 6 -9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday March 18, 2015 at 10am at Our Lady of the Airways Roman Catholic Church (7407 Darcel Ave., Malton). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27, south of Hwy 7). In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Salvatore may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
