God called Filomena peacefully on February 18, 2015 at the age of 94. She will be cherished by her dear children Carmelina (Alberto Del Signore - predeceased), Antonio – predeceased (Maria), Rosetta (Antonio Di Donato – predeceased). Proud grandmother of Salvatore Del Signore (Anna), Enrico Del Signore (Elizabeth), Dino Del Signore - predeceased, Natalina (John Tricarico), Domenic Bettini (Tracie), Robert Bettini (Lisa), Donna Di Donato, Gabriella (Nick Giordano), Michael Di Donato (Grace). Great Grandmother of Michael, Julian, Milena, Elliott, Charlotte, Jacob, Alexandra, Emily, Andrew, Lucas, Anthony, Nicholas. Filomena is now reunited in heaven with her husband Domenico and brother Cosimo. She will be held dear in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905 850-3332) on Friday from 2-4 and 6 – 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 10:00am at St. Augustine of Canterbury Church (80 Shoreham Dr., east of Jane St.) Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St, north of Finch Ave. If so desired donations in memory of Filomena may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundatiion.
