Passed quietly on Tuesday January 13, 2015 with friends and family by his side at the age of 58. He will be sadly missed by his beloved partner and fiancée Chere Bunting. Loving father and guardian angel to his daughter Allison. Forever cherished by his parents Chris and Helen. Always remembered by his nephews Antoni and Christopher and sister Elpida (Costas Pashartis). He will be held dear in the hearts of his mother-in-law Muriel (R.J. Bunting-pre deceased), and sister-in-law Robin Bunting. George was a dear friend, devoted family man and lover of fine wine and food, a very successful land planner, entrepreneur and owner of “Nu-Land Management.” His gregarious and caring personality will be sorely missed by his many friends, relatives, family in Cyprus and business associates. Visitation will be held from 5-9pm on Friday January 16th and Saturday January 17th at the Vescio Funeral Home (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332). Also Visitations on Sunday, January 18th will take place at Henry Walser Funeral Home from 6-9pm with Trisagion prayers at 7:45pm. (507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467). The Funeral Service will be held on Monday January 19th at 10:00am at Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church with Father Konstantinos Chatzis officiating (527 Bridgeport Rd, Kitchener). Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Port Perry, Ontario. Donations in memory of George may be made to a charity of your choice.
