God called Maria peacefully on August 8, 2014 at the age of 79. She will be re-united with her loving husband Costantino. She will be cherished by her dear children Maura(Pasquale Morabito), Francesca (Adriano Fisico), and Tony. Proud grandmother of Michael, Gabriel, Christopher, Marco, Paolo, Isabella, Stefania, Nicolas and Joshua. Maria will be held dear in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905 850-3332) on Tuesday August 12, 2014 from 2-4pm & 5-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday August 13, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church (191 Wade Gate, east of Dufferin Street, south of Centre Street). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy #27, south of Hwy #7). In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Maria may be made to Maria’s granddaughter Isabella Fisico’s Fundraiser for Cancer research fundraiseforlife.kintera.org/hairtoshare or the Breast Cancer Society of Canada.
