God called Clara peacefully on April 7, 2014 at the age of 87. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband Antonio. She will be cherished by her dear children Ines (Sante Valente) and Sara (Joe Fodero). Proud grandmother of Antonio (Tina), Stephanie (Frank Gallippi), Carla (Aldo Vercillo, Joe (Diane), Vince (Sara), Anthony (Candice), Michael, Dominic and Michael. Clara was also blessed to have 10 great grandchildren. She will always be remembered by her brother Tullio (Fortunata), and sisters Maria (Mario Mancuso) and Carmelina and sister in law Maria. Clara is pre-deceased by her daughter Pierina (Mario Garofalo), her son Rocco (Diane), and brother Luigi. She will be held dear in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905 850-3332) on Wednesday from 6-9pm and Thursday from 2-4 & 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday April 11, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Wilfrid’s Roman Catholic Church (on Finch Ave., east of Jane St.). Entombment to follow at the Glendale Memorial Gardens (on Albion Rd., at Hwy 27). If so desired donations in memory of Clara may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
